These little crabs are my coconuts favorite pets. With all the rain in the past month and the cool weather its been fun going to the beach to search for treasures, chase crabs and prectice letters in the sand.
This is the place; the church of San Gregorio Magno al Celio. In 597 AD, Pope Gregory sent its Prior Augustine to Britain to convert the Barbarians to Christianity. The rest, as they say, is history.
Even today, it's a church where the English are readily welcomed in Rome for that extraordinary, centuries-old connection. #testaccina

Loved our 3 Things Game yesterday and got to learn so much about everyone! Thanks for playing along. Loving everything from @thepinkdumpling Paola, an Italian mum living in Shanghai. Any Expats here? Raise your hand 🙋and tell me where you're from and where you're living now! And if you wish you were an expat, then where would you live? Keep using #wearetravelmums •
After I finished my Masters program, I accepted a job teaching 5th grade at a small international school in Vientiane, Laos. To be honest, I had never even heard of Laos and certainly wouldn't have been able to find it on a map. But with a giant leap of faith (I honestly thought it was a scam until I physically got there), I headed off for this foreign, landlocked country and embarked on a journey that would lead me to places I could have never imagined. I loved that little 5th grade class so much. They were so sweet. So full of love. These pictures are from when I took the class to the local vet for a field trip (my (very awesome) friend worked there and offered to host a field trip for my class). This little boy is hearing a puppy's heart beat for the first time and the progression of photos is quite possibly the sweetest thing ever. ❤️
Who would stay in these cute beach huts in BALI!? 🏝✌️
Here is the best part- You can get them from about $75 USD per night! 😍
They sure are an adventure to get to! A 40 minutes flight to Lombok, an hour and a half taxi transfer to Senggigi and a 30 minutes boat transfer to Gili Trawangan!!
Who could spend all swinging in a hammock here? We sure could!!👌

The very first family excursion. Baby was good for 2 hours but then freaked out and cried almost one hour nonstop. No comfort found after trying to feed her, hold her, cuddle with her, dance with her, swing her, cover her, uncover her, sing to her, talk to her... this is in the middle of a fight between hubby and I who were trying our best efforts to calm her and were not successful and my aunt going desperate as well not being able to help either ... and of course also Valentina getting on my leg like a koala to be able to watch her sister closely and wanting me to carry her at the same time 🙈ps.- did I mention that the Windy City was crazy windy once we walked through the peer trying to get warm in a coffee place ... and no, we didn't walk with the baby like this all the time, she was happy in her stroller but then not anymore 🤷🏻♀️ #1monthold#talkaboutfuzzybabies
