Is Talent born or made? From certain scientific research it is suggested that Talent is hardwired in are DNA and is not always something that we acquire by learning. That is why you hear people say that they got their artistic abilities, or their ear for music, or their negotiating skills from their mom or dad. If that is the case then that means we all have the seeds for certain talents. Identifying and tapping into what your talents are is one of the greatest resources that is exclusively for you, and might just hold the key to your success in many areas of your life.
Recognize that what comes naturally and effortlessly and may seem like a piece of cake to you is not the case for everyone else. Looking at a lot of successful people you will begin to recognize that most have identified what their talent is and from there they hone in on it, amplify it, and ultimately capitalize on it.
So how do you find what it is that is hardwired in your DNA, what is your talent?
The fastest most effective way that I know of is to ask the people around you. Ask your family, your friends, what they think it is that you are best or good at. People around you will usually be able to tell you what you're very good at in one or two words. Examples of the things they might tell you is that you are a good listener, you're a good cook, you are very creative, you're a good negotiator, you're good at selling things. Whatever it may be start exploring fields that require that skill, hone in on it, amplify it and you will start to see ways that you can capitalize on it.
Would love to hear your input, please share with us your thoughts.
