Im gunna be hitting the fundraising campaign real hard for the next few months. After some recent clarification in my life, I'm even more focused and determined on becoming me, Ruben.
I've managed to find a Private Hospital who can take care of needs and transition... now just to make this possible! My first step and goal now is to raise £280 to cover my first appointment!
Next step will then be to cover my follow up appointments at £150 a piece.... and then finally the the T and Chest surgery 👌🏼🙏🏼.
I'm planning on finding good my current college education and then finding a second job, which I can then pump as much money into this as possible... then even selling my car to make this happen.
I believe with the help from you amazing people combined with a lot of hard work and sacrifice this end, we can do this 💪🏼👊🏼.

Here's where to begin! -
☑️Buy a food scale to weigh whole foods and portion sizes. This is your best friend.
☑️Download a tracking application such as "Myfitnesspal" to log your foods in a diary.
☑️Use any online calculator to give you some starting calories. www.IIFYM.com should suffice.
☑️Recognize that the starting point is not the be all & end all. It will change. Best to start somewhere, the calculator shouldn't be taken for gospel. Understand that it simply serves to start you off.
☑️Track calories only. Develop the habit of weighing your foods & their portion size. Get used to logging foods in a diary. This is all about developing discipline as you become used to hitting a specific calorie target.
☑️Track calories & a protein target. After you develop the foundation of understanding what foods/quantities culminate in a specific calorie goal, you can then progress onto identifying the specific nutrient value of certain foods. Making you think about your choices & truly understanding their contents.
☑️Calories, protein & fats. By now you should be in the habit of weighing foods, logging them in a diary, hitting a specific calorie target consistently & a protein target. Introduce a new target of fats; see notes above for protein, they apply to fats too.
☑️Calories, Protein, Fats & Carbs. By this stage you should have the understanding of taking consideration towards specific numbers. Simply keeping an eye out on another variable of your carb intake.
☑️Quality. Now you can ensure that your food selection, within your calorie/macro intake, provides you with 10g of Fibre, per 1000 calories. Sufficient micronutrients through 1 Fruit+1 Veg per 1000 calories and provide adequate nutrients in your diet.
☑️Learn to make adjustments to your intake and food choices, based on progression and on personal preference, now that you have developed a foundation & understanding, alongside discipline and habit.
✖️Dream Out Loud!✖️Writing down your dreams and goals and your plan of attack is awesome and as a big planner myself I'd say it's essential BUT it can be just as important to share your dreams out loud too. Sharing your goals verbally can make you more accountable and motivated and hence more likely to achieve that awesome dream!
