When you travel, which kind of #accomodation do you choose? Small hotels, international chains, B&B, hostels, airbnb... or #couchsurfing ?
During my hole trip around Creta, due to my low budget & that my stay there was going to be very long, I decided that I will try to couchsurf during the hole month... and it worked out really well!
You know, Creta is a very big island, so if you stay in the same place the hole time, you might need to rent a car, or you would miss a big part of it! So my idea was to change hosts every week more or less, and @ the same time change towns so I could get to know the island more in detail, with all its beaches, moutains, paths, gorges & monasteries.
During my stay in Creta I've been hosted by a super cool polish guy in Vatolakkos, A greek guy in Souda Bay, another one in Rethmynon, a pakistany girl in Rethymno, too, an american guy in Stavros (where this picture with the view from my bedroom was taken) and finally another really nice greek goy, who lives across the Technical University of Chania. I not only saved money when doing couchsurfing, but also I get to know a lot of locals (not only my hosts, but also their friends), been to really cool local bars with great live music, had dinner in their favourite taverns... and all of these experiences together were just unique! So, if you feel like experiencing a new kind of way of traveling, or just feel like getting to know locals, don't hesitate in opening your account in couchsurfing.org, and get yourself into unique adventures!

#LabuanBajo it is. Thank you team for showing respect and love to nature. Also for poking the spirit of adventure through work of #art
