Quick Review and Swatches: JT One Glossy Boots Lip Glosses.
Top to Bottom: 'Social' (a shimmery, light pink nude), 'Firecracker' (a pigmented, strawberry red shade), 'Mischief' (a sheer, orange-tinted shade) and 'Cheeky' (a pigmented, shimmery, dark pink shade).
These lipglosses are gorgeous. They apply smooth and evenly. The glosses are not sticky at all and work well over lipsticks. The only con is that they're not long-lasting. As with many lipglosses, these products need to be reapplied every couple of hours (especially if you're eating or drinking).
______________________________________________ 'Firecracker' (my favourite) and 'Cheeky' are pigmented enough to be worn alone or on top of a lipliner while 'Social' adds the perfect amount of shimmer. I love using 'Mischief' on top of a matte lipstick to add some glossiness (is that even a word?). If you're on a budget and in the market for some lipglosses or if you're a beginner to makeup, I would recommend you give these a try.
These glosses come in 8 shades and they retail for R39.95 each. JT One products can be found at Woolworths stores and on their online store. Also, these products are cruelty-free and vegan.

As most of you may have noticed (well my snapfam and those who watch my stories) I have my mojo back!
It's part of life we all go through shitty times and get ourselves stuck in a slump. Sometimes life can throw you a few challenges and hurdles but then comes a time you need to smash it head on and refresh your state of mind.
This mama is finally feeling back to my old self. I won't lie the past week motherhood, pregnancy, being sick and a teething toddler has kicked my ass but feeling like I got this shit again 😜
At the end of the day remember it's OK to have shitty days and not have everything together all the time (besides we're only human) but also remember it's not ok to always look on the negative side of every situation. Remember there is always a silver lining (well maybe not for teething 😂) . We all have the power to wake up and run the day and not let the day (or our children) run us.. pfft who am I kidding H is the boss in my house 😂 Positivity is the key to a healthy mind and happy life.
Now I am in the second trimester and my nausea is easing off I'm feeling so grateful to just feel more like me again! It's the little things I really appreciate at the moment like getting out the house with H and seeing her smile as I push her on the swing, getting my meal prep done and knowing I'm all set for the week. Lastly I enjoy moving my body and being active it makes me a better happier mother (not to mention more patient with my husband #preggoemotions 😂) .
To all the mama's currently feeling flat and like they have no direction .. it's time to refresh that mindset and set yourself some new goals for the week🙌🏻 You can't always control what happens to you in life BUT you CAN control how you react to it ♥️
How is your mindset lately? What are some positive changes you want to make this week ??
