I envy the exsistance of infinity,
For me, a limitless world seems free,
Free to be anything I want to be.
Forever in reach no need for a key,
Because you can't lock up infinity.
It promises things so wonderfully, infinity.
Things like always, for you and me,
But its just not for we, but he and she,
And anyone really, that wants to be,
Part of the vast thing called infinity - Tyler Loeslein

What a great day to clean up our local wetland for #earth 🌎 day. In 3 hours we collected enough trash to fill up two truck beds! If you see a plastic bottle on the side of the road chances are it will end up in a wetland, stream, or river. Keep your neighborhood clean = keep your water clean. These amazing ecosystem provide several services to both humans and wildlife. We are more than happy to take care of this beautiful wetland 🐢🐍🌱 .TSU Environmental Science Club killed it today. Special thanks to the Cumberland River Compact for providing the supplies. #motherearth#TSUwild#ESC (pc: Steven Kennedy)

The gate of Memory swings,
And my heart goes into the garden
And walks with the olden things.”

Well, that's the last of my Earth Day posts folks! Hope you had a wonderful Earth Day, and that you do what you can to help save our planet. Mother Earth needs our help! 🌎❄️☀️🌈⚡️🔥💦🌊 And I hope you enjoyed my posts as much as I did. That was surprisingly fun! 😂😍💛 Going through so many of my old photos and videos reminded me of how many amazing experiences, with the best people, that I've gotten to take part in over the years. Thank you to everyone in my life for being such wonderful, kind, and loving human beings. And most of all, thank you for making memories with me. They mean more to me that any material good ever could..I will treasure & cherish our memories for the rest of my days! 🤗😍💐💃🏾💖📖📸🌃🌇🌅🎉🎉
One of my few photos from @LucidityFestival ! I volunteered 28 hours and it was exhausting tbh lol. One of my shifts was working in the recycle/compost center. It felt like an episode of Dirty Jobs. But the people who lead that department were so passionate about properly throwing things away - very inspiring. ♻️ Who knew I'd get to stand on top of a mountain of trash 😝 #EarthDayEveryDay
We had a gorgeous day weather wise and a joyous day spirit wise! As I read Malaguzzi's Image of the Child this evening, this phrase popped out for me. Everleigh, my 23 month old watched a five year old flip on these handle bars and in a second she joyfully tried to kick her legs up! I'm learning new things every day. Today I learned from both my girls to never underestimate them, to believe in them and if I'm patient enough, they will also soar with joy. #everythinginjoy
I often speak about self-care on this page. As a mental health professional, I have experienced first hand when one does not make this a priority. Trust me it's not fun AT ALL. I promised myself that I would make self-care a priority in my life. Naturally, that would make it a priority in my philosophies and in my practice. As a woman who feels connected to her indigenous cultures; both being quite tribal, both of which valued Mother Earth, I inevitably find that both self-care and connecting to nature are not mutually exclusive.
Connecting with nature helps boost creativity, health, lowers stress, inspires feelings of connectedness, and can be restorative.
Point blank- you gotta recharge ladies and gentlemen!!! If you don't recharge you will inevitably crash!
Ways to connect with nature: .
•Let nature in: Pull your blinds up, open your windows. Let the sun and air into your home. .
•Observe: Open your eyes, look around you. Go on a local hike, literally stop and smell the flowers. Sit under a tree or go to the beach. Watch a sunset or sunrise. Stargaze! .
•Eat Fresh foods: Get connected to your food. Get fresh food. Actually sit and taste an apple. Pick, clean, and dry your own herbs. Mindfully prepare your foods. Thank your food. .
•Connect with animals: Go to the zoo, get a pet, feed birds. Watch butterflies. Observe the beauty of life (other than your own).
. •Plants: Start a garden and if you don't have a backyard , like myself, and you live in the city, start a windowsill garden. Have plants that are "your baby", that you're in charge of taking care of and actually take care of them.
Do all this mindfully and with the intention of being connected.
