EARTH HOUR 60+
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. towards the end of March, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet. It was started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia, in 2007. Since then, it has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide.
Earth Hour 2016 was on Saturday, March 19, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during participants' local time and will be held March 25 in 2017.

#EarthHour2017 . Switch off the lights for an hour and help save our planet 🌏, i joined the movement. My only light at this moment is this selfie lamp which I won at @enjoyglobe activities on #IDareToDream concert. One of the princesses in the series dreamt of becoming the #Philippines president, so one of her MANY RULES but the most IMPORTANT one when she assumes in power is to TAKE CARE OF THE EARTH because if the earth is destroyed, we won't have another home anymore. And the audience went wild 🙌🏻 (that words came from a young lass). Do your share, still 15 minutes left 🌍. #EarthHour#MotherEarth
At the beginning of this oily journey, I was confused about diluting oils... Why do I need to dilute? When do I have to dilute? What's the purpose of diluting? What will happen if I don't dilute? So many questions!
I've picked up some knowledge along the way, and doTERRA has created some general recommendations as well.
First of all, your best resource is your PRODUCT GUIDE. Look on the page that lists all the Single Oils and on the page with the list of Oil Blends. There is a code next to each oil: N for Neat, S for Sensitive, and D for Dilute. 'Neat' oils can be used without diluting because they are very gentle. 'Sensitive' oils tend to be a little irritating, so it is best to dilute a little. 'Dilute' oils are "hot," or irritating to the skin. You definitely want to dilute these.
That being said, I tend to dilute ALL my oils. I generally follow these guidelines, although never perfectly... Neat Oils = 1:1 ratio (1 drop EO, 1 drop FCO)
Sensitive Oils = 1:2 ratio (1 drop EO, 2 drops FCO)
Dilute Oils = 1:3 ratio (1 drop EO, 3 drops FCO)
I like to dilute my oils because (1) it makes them last longer and go farther, (2) less essential oil evaporates, (3) they are driven deeper into my body, and (4) they start working faster.
I almost always use Fractionated Coconut Oil to dilute my oils, especially when I'm making up roller bottles. FCO is coconut oil with the fat removed, so it stays in a liquid state all the time. It doesn't have an odor, so it never takes away from the aroma of my essential oils. Other oils you can use for diluting are: jojoba, olive, almond, etc. I also use a Shea butter/coconut oil combo for my body lotion. The options are endless! #naturesremedies#motherearth#purity#bethechange#dilution#essentialoils#natural#healthy#happy#doterra#coconutoil#beyou#healthykids#happymama
