This is one of those texts you couldn't recommend during the winter months: it's too dark, it'd chew you up and spit you out. However, Sarah Kane's '4.48 Psychosis' is still worthy of your time and attention - just remember to have regular breaks for sunlight and deep breathing. The last play she wrote before her suicide, this is the gem in Kane's brief but magnificent crown of achievements. This play is so raw and painful that it breaks normal barriers down - there are no characters, merely fragments of speech, and there are no emotions left but those in dark and bloody hues. The writing is beautiful, even though it's screaming at you.

I just heard from a girlfriend that a man told her he couldn't think up a conversation for two girls to have in a script w/o making it about a significant other... Guys...we talk about the same shit u do. Probably in more gross detail. Ingrown hairs, the shit we just took in the bathroom, the letter it looked like...
How our vaginas are soar from that dude we fucked last night. How pissed we are some idiot hit our car. How much our nipple piercings hurt... How much our asses itch after a shit, but only sometimes...like why? Did i not wipe right?Should i get baby wipes? (Yes we can be hella gross)
So the next time someone says they can't think of something to write about when it comes to women, tell them to think of the last conv they had with a bro and change the names from Dude #1 and Dude #2 to WOMEN's names 😉🤘🏻

What the fuck is my life? Am I being freaky friday-ed without know it? This has been the week of insane blessings. Excuse me while I try not to explode. Jk I've exploded.
Snapshot of my audition tape. My agent came to me asking to audition for a part in an upcoming series, even though I am not and have never acted. I won't lie, I would absolutely love the part. I connected with the character in a way I never even knew was possible. Even if I don't get the part it was still fun to audition.
Getting Away with Murder : A Women's History Month Series in Art
American portrait photographer Karrie Anne specializes in photographing people in nature, and was engaged as a sports photographer for local high school teams in Mount Shasta, California. In early March 2017, a 42 year old woman who had assisted Karrie Anne while shooting the local football team, was accused of having sex with three Mount Shasta High School football players, and charged with four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and one count of dissuading a witness or victim of a crime. Although neither accused nor suspected of any wrongdoing, Karrie Anne was subsequently fired as guilty by association. She is still trying to get her job back working with the school.
In our Getting Away With Murder (and lesser crimes) Series for Women's History Month we feature male artists who have been accused and/or convicted of crime but whose crimes were forgiven or forgotten and went on to become famous anyway... and female artists accused and/or convicted of similar crimes, and whose careers were damaged, destroyed or forgotten by history.
