Buon fine settimana 😙😙😙 !
This is dedicated to all those husbands/fellows/friends/relatives/aunts/addallthosewhichapplytotherule who don't understand that if we are sewing, and we scream "give me 5 more minutes!I'm coming!", time changes and it's measured in half-hours or hours! What do you say, shall we let all the people we know that when we sew time flies ❤️?
Have a great weekend 😙😙😙!

Day 25 of #miymarch17 with @thatwendyward @dressmakerssocial @fashionformulauk @sewdiyblog & @lovesewingmag: Printspiration
When sewing with prints I like to use a pattern with minimal seams and details so that the fabric can speak for itself. The shell print is going to become an @theavidseamstress Sheath Dress and the @libertylondon lawn will be sewn up in @simplicitynewlook K6467 from @makeitdressmaker. The block print is a sari I bought from a development project that I visited in Bangladesh in 1998, on lovely soft drapey cotton. Its simplicity is part of what makes it so beautiful to me, as well as knowing exactly where it was made.
This Inari Tee dress with waist gathering must be made again. I loved the pink with neon specks jersey. PS:it was fun crafting the flower crown for this photoshoot 🇧🇷Quero repetir esse molde com as mesmas modificações.
#DidYouKnowThat The history of quilts began long before European settlers arrived in the New World. People in nearly every part of the world had used padded fabrics for clothing, bedding, and even armor. With the arrival of the English and Dutch settlers in North America, quilting took on a new life and flourished.

Sewing machine tension can be frustrating to deal with because it can determine how good or bad your stitching looks. While you may have your tension set correctly for piecing and sewing, you may find that you need to make adjustments when switching to free motion quilting.
One day I'd like to sell my own patterns... this is a little peak of one that I've been working on. Click my profile link to subscribe to my newsletter and be the first to know about it! ✌🏻💛✂
